I usually lean toward diverse, more inclusive decks, but when I came across this holographic version through Viuxe Monde, an indie publishing house based in Nashville, Tennessee that focuses on restoring historic European tarot and oracle decks, it caught my attention. Knowing this is a restored version of the original made me want to experience the OG deck for myself, and now it’s something I can share with you, especially knowing it’s thoughtfully made and manufactured here in the U.S.
 
The holographic finish gives it a shifting, iridescent quality that feels both modern and almost otherworldly while still rooted in the past. When I use this deck it feels more airy and casual in my experience. It’s fun to use, especially on a sunny day out in a meadow in Sonoma or Napa, or even up on a hill at Dolores Park in San Francisco. That really speaks to the radiance of this version and how it shows up in use.
 
There’s something about that reflective shine we’re naturally drawn to, and this elevated version delivers. It also makes a beautiful gift for anyone wanting something classic with a more eye-catching, modern edge.
