Tarot of the Woodland Wardens brings tarot into a more nature-based space in a way that just feels right. It still holds onto the structure of the Rider-Waite system, but instead of people, you’re working with animals and woodland imagery, which gives the readings a different kind of perspective. It feels more instinctive, like you’re reading energy instead of just memorizing meanings.
The artwork by Jessica Roux really carries the whole experience. There’s something about it that feels calm but also deeply detailed, like every card has its own presence. When I use this deck, it doesn’t feel forced or complicated, it just flows. It’s one of those decks that naturally builds that connection over time without you trying too hard.
You get the full 78-card deck with both major and minor arcana, plus a guidebook if you want that extra support. You can pair it with the Woodland Wardens Oracle or use it on its own, and either way it holds its own. This is one of those decks that feels grounded, easy to work with, and something I genuinely enjoy using.
